Worst Meal Ever????

I have to say I've never had bad food, but I have had bad service at Prime Time. The waitress was horrible and quite honestly ruined the entire visit. Everyone in her station was complaining to each other about her and I realize now that we all should have asked to speak to the manager. I didn't because I didn't want to make a big deal about it and make it more of a dominant factor in our day than it already was. But I now think that was a mistake.

Breakfast at the ABC Commisary. I had scrambled eggs and sausage. Ate the eggs, but there was not enough ketchup there to make the sauage eddible. Nasty and disgusting do not even begin to describe it.

I wish that MGM had more to offer for breakfast. Starring Rolls always has a line out the door, and I will never go back to the ABC Comissary.

I don't think I've really had a bad meal at WDW. The only meal where I thought I had terrible service was LeCellier. I didn't want to order a drink, and the waiter kept asking me throughout the meal whether I changed my mind. I kept having to decline, which was annoying.

Hollywood and Vine. The buffet doesn't offer a whole lot of yummy food, and sometimes it's cold. The only thing that I looked forward to was the dessert. All you can eat soft-serve ice cream and any topping you could think of. But then they got rid of it. It's now soft-serve ice cream, rainbow sprinkles, and watery chocolate syrup. :crazy2:

I can't remember the year but my family ate at 50's prime time pretty soon after MGM opened. Most of the food was ok, the staff wasn't great but it was obvious they were busy. The main problem was that when my burger was delivered it had no fries (which were supposed to be included). When our waiter finally came back to check on us I told him I was missing the fries. During the rest of the meal the waiter and others brought out every single fries with topping dish that the restaurant had and a few that weren't on the menu. Each time I told them "No, just plain, no topping fries". Finally by the time everyone else was eating their dessert I was brought wet, soggy, plain fries. However I will say that EVERY trip after that the meals at 50's prime time have been great.

Wispering Canyon was inedible. Even accepting the "banter" the staff was rude and insulting.

My mom and sister ate at San Angel inn (the restaurant inside Mexico). Both ordered chicken burritos. My sister was given plain, empty tortillas rolled up with no chicken inside. Mom could not identify what was in her tortillas.

Tony Town Square:scared: We were so looking forward to trying this place and it was disappointing to say the least. Sub par food slow service and the place was dirty to boot.

The Cantina in Mexico. I ordered a salad that took them 20 minutes to bring to the window (while I watched other people getting theirs), and then it was really gross once I got it The margarita was water with salt in it and all of the tables were dirty. There were food bits stuck to all of them. Ew!

I have to say it was Chef Mickey's breakfast. Everything on the buffet was cold. It was only 9:30 a.m. Nothing on there was good. The characters were great, though, IMO. We got some great pictures, but the food...AWFUL!

Cape May Clambake - Only meal ever at WDW that was truly horrible. Absolutely nothing was appealing or edible, even to a starving teenager.:sad2:

The first and only time we used the dining plan was 11/05 and can honestly say that we did not have a bad meal. Wasn't real crazy about Concourse but it wasn't awful.

We are going back this November on the dining plan and of course we have some concerns with the ressies that we made.

My question is this. If your meal(s) are horrible, why can't you send them back and go somewhere else to eat? Unless you are on the free dining plan, why would you not complain to the manager and ask not to have it charged against your dining plan because essentially you are paying for your meal?

Has anyone done this? I know I would.

'Ohana in 2003. We used to LOVE it, but this was the last time we ever ate there. We waited over an hour past our ADR time for a table. The shrimp was scorched and inedible, other meats overcooked and dry. Service was terrible. The waitress forgot to bring out my birthday cake and DH had ask her about it at the table (after already asking her once away from the table) and blow the surprise. Unsupervised kids squeezed between our table and the window, blocking our own kids' view when the fireworks started. Simply awful.

Breakfast, Spoodles. This place is horrible, how can you screw up breakfast? They did it believe me. Everything was overcooked, rubbery and very greasy.

Dinner, H&V. The service was terrible, we were surrounded by dirty tables that never were bused, the waitress never brought us drink refills and the food was disgusting.

Sorry you had a bad breakfast there, We eat there a lot and really enjoy it there.

I am not a fan of Planet Hollywood. I think it is overhyped, crowded, noisy, and the food is not that good for what you pay. Being a vegetarian, I found they had VERY limited selections.

Also, Tony's Town Square was not good and was lacking in vegetarian options. The service left a lot to be desired, especially when the waitress was not helpful in suggesting vegetarian things the kitchen could make for me. I ordered spaghetti with mushrooms, and it was gross. I could make better spaghetti at home with canned sauce. And to add insult to injury, it was $12.00!

I cannot stand the ABC Commisary! Awful food!

Also, the Pepper Market at CSR - The food was awful (and I had a cheeseburger!) I don't care for the setup or the extra 10% automatically added to the bill. :sad2:

:sad2: I am in total agreement about the ABC Commisary! My DH and I had the cuban sandwiches and they were gross! Completely dry and tasteless!

Why do they add an extra 10% to the bill?

Sci-Fi Dine In. Terrible service, below-average food, and I felt like I was in IASW when they played the clips over... and over... and over.

Back from another trip, and I have two more to add to the list...

Rainforest Cafe -- Ribs were greasy, overcooked, very watery, and loaded with fat. Cesar salad tasted and looked old and wilted. Service wasn't good either.

Sci-Fi Theater -- Food was terrible compared to the prices. My hamburger was rubbery, greasy, and flavorless. The bun was stale, and the fries were soggy. Service was rude and slow.
