Worrying: BA Flight question

Hi all
I've not even been and I'm already bummed about the prospect of having to come home

On the way back my we fly MCO>Gatwick>Glasgow with BA but my DBF has had some work come in which required him to leave from Gatwick on the day we arrive back. Instead of him flying back to Glasgow just to immediately turn around and head back to London he wants to skip the link and fly out from but I'm worried about it affecting my flight. Has anyone experienced/dealt with something like this before?

If you call them I don't think there will be a problem. What you will have an issue with is the luggage which you are no doubt having checked at MCO and will go straight through with you to GLA. Except if a passenger does not board a flight, neither does their luggage so I don't know how that will work for you
