worried that second cruise will be a dissappointment / let down

we've been away for two whole years.....
that's a long long long time without disney for us...
we're all getting VERY VERY VERY excited....
yikes...so much to do...so little time..

If you are going to Universal, I can't stress enough how worth it the Express Plus passes are. For an extra 15.95 pp per day you get a pass that allows you to go through the express line on each ride once. The express line is basically the same as the express passes at disney, but with the express plus passes you just hop right in line without having to come back at a specific time. We never waited more than 10 minutes for ANYTHING. If your kids really want to do the big rides, I think you could safely do both parks in one day if you wanted to fork out the extra money. You can't get the express plus online, but you can call the universal vacation planners and get the tickets in advance, or you can get them in the park first thing in the morning. They only sell a set number of them a day and they do sell out. You buy them seperate from your tickets, so it doesn't matter if you already have the tickets.

Oh- and when we went only the Shrek 4d movie actually scanned the passes, so we could have used them on the other rides more than once.

thanks for the great tip!!.......however, we're actually going to stay onsite at universal for the first night we're in orlando, so that we can have express entrance to all the attractions......we'll be able to get express entrance the day we check in and the day we check out....since mostly we're going to ride the new rides and do the ones the kids were too young (or too chicken) to do the last time, it shouldn't take us all that long to go through everything on our list...

Universal:
--revenge of the mummy
--shrek 4D
--MIB (we already did it but we'll do it again)
--Gory gruesome (also a return visit)
--Jaws (again a return visit)
--twister (return)
--earthquake (return)
--back to the future (return)

that's it for universal

islands of adventure:
--hulk (for the 1st time)
--dueling dragons (for the 1st time)
--jurassic park (return visit)
--bilge barge (return visit)
--dudley dooright (return visit)

i think that's it for islands of adventure..

so all in all, this shouldn't take too long...then we'll be on our way to WDW for the rest of our stay (with a cruise - !!! - thrown in the middle)...
