Thanks to everyone who posted. As Baloo stated, yes I have found my answer to my question. We might swap with our friends who has a baby the same age, if we decide to get dinner on our own.
Yes, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and everyone has the right to raise their children as they see fit. I think criticizing others for the way they raise their children is just not fair. I agree, personal attacks are unnecessary.
Having been a babysitter once upon a time, I was always more than happy to watch other peoples' children so they could have time to get away for a while. I wouldn't say being with children 24/7 makes your mind turn into mush, but I do think it's nice to have some alone time with your spouse or significant other time to time. I really believe a happy marriage makes an overall happy family! IMHO.
