My son is almost 1yr in 2 wks. He does not eat babyfood. I know from the past 11.5 months that many things can change over the next 2 months...but I'm worried about what he will be able to eat, and snack on. So far his favorite thing is cheese.. he eats cheese like crazy. I know what too much cheese can do for you.. my mother lectures me on that. But he is ok in that department :) Don't get me wrong he will eat table food and lots of it most of the time... but sometimes when he turns it away we bring out the cheese...and its always a winner. That or puffs especially when we are teething. I know since they really don't classify as baby food the cheese and puffs will remain at home. Please tell me what you all did with your little one. What was available for them to eat.. i know it's Disney so I'm sure they get this every week.

My DD is nine, but she can be difficult when it comes to food. Our first dinner was in Triton's, I forgot to order her appetizer and she was upset when we all got one and she didn't. She liked the spinach pie I had odered (kinda like a spanakopita). Our server got one for her, even though it was on the adult menu. Also, our last night was in Parrot Cay and she was disappointed they didn't have the buffet like the first day's lunch. She decided she wanted the cheese platter (like the one we ordered from room service). Our server checked with the head server and was able to get one for her.
So, basically, you have alot of options. They do offer alot of fruit and typical kids foods (mac n cheese, chicken tenders, etc.). Don't forget that your son can have anything that you think he might like from the adult menu as well.
Good luck :goodvibes

While my kids are 8 and 5 now, I do remember the dilemma over going out, especially with my daughter. Don't worry, your son won't starve. They will always find something. I'm sure that you can bring along Cheerios and things like that. (It's not liquid, so it's fine. I brought PB&J sandwiches onto the plane in August for my kids.) Disney has plenty of food and lots that appeals to kids. My very, very picky daughter managed to find things she liked. Don't sweat it. The CM's are very helpful and I'm sure will help you get your little one fed.

My ds was about 11 months when we did the 11 night cruise. He is still eating a mix of table food and babyfood. We brought a ton of baby food and a ton of puffs! He loves those too!!! My DS loves cheese and we were always able to get it. I know that the buffets have it for both luch and dinner. The burger place near the family pool has slices of cheese also. You can get almost anything on the ship. My DS tried everything mashed potatoes, soup, pasta, chicken, pancakes, ice cream, veggies, fruit, everything. They are wonderful once the servers know what your DS likes they will always have it for you. One day my DD was asking for cheese, she is a cheese lover too! And Laura our wonderful server found some for us. Another morning she was asking for mickey waffles which I told her they did not have and Laura again went to a buffet to get her some! My DS was a tough eater before our trip he has a cleft lip and palate and just starting eating solid food at 8 months old. If we got him to eat there is hope for everyone!!!! Sorry for the long response I love talking about DCL. Have a great cruise. :sunny:

I never got any so this may not be right, but I think they had single serve packages of cereal at Topsiders that you could grab to use later in the day.
