I thought I had my WS strategy planned out, but now I am rethinking it. We have never been to WS so we had planned to dedicate a whole day to this. We have ADR'S for Norway Princess Breakfast at 10:00 and planned to start our tour immediately following this. Well, I found out the Kidcot stops don't open until 1:00. I am really looking forward to my kids doing this. They will be 4 and 7 and I think would really enjoy the stops. Would you go ahead and start your tour and go back to the ones they missed or what? Also, what time does the live entertainment usually start? Thanks!

Most of the year, the World Showcase opens at 11:00 AM, so that may affect your plans.

I don't think you'll be able to dedicate a whole day to World Showcasae with kids 4 and 7. I may get flamed for saying this, but I just don't think there's enough for kids that age for a whole day.

It depends on how much your 7 year old enages with the CMs. There is a lot to be experienced, surely a full day's worth, but it requires meeting new people, learning a bit about who they are, where they come from, what it is like to be from somewhere else. Our DN6 was very intrigued by that. Here's a video of him watching a performance Honobono Minwa in Japan. He was riveted to it. And that was just one CM in one of the countries.

I love the World Showcase! It is one of my favorite places in WDW! We reently returned from a trip with 5 little girls ages 2-5 and a boy age 8. The boy - not so thrilled with the WS but the girls enjoyed it! My dd5 had a blast - even before we found the KidCot stations. WE started at the other end in the UK because we an ADR for dinner in Norway. My dd loved all the flowers and stores and was pin trading so she was in heaven! All the kids loved the fountains in France and they were lots of characters - at one point we just sat on a bench waiting for Snow White to return and the kids just played around. They also liked watching the drum show in Japan, the acrobats in China, the miniture city with trains in Germany! It depends on your kids! Have a great trip!
