World Showcase ideas

Are they going off on their own? You could give a scavenger hunt of things to photograph or buy. Just off the top of my head: pic on the magic carpet in Morocco, ask CM to write your name in Chinese characters, buy a piece of chocolate in France's gift shop (they're under $1), etc. I can give more ideas if that's the type of thing you're looking for.

Or are you just looking for ideas of things that might appeal to teens in general? I would think they'd love the gift shops, especially Japan. Even if they didn't want to color a Duffy/Agent P at the Kidcot stations, they could get CMs to write a note or their names in that country's language. There are interesting things to explore or treats to eat in every pavilion. The performers are fun to watch. Are they into character meets? There are several around the WS.

My kids went around to the different countries shops and took pics of each other in different hats. They had a blast posing for the pics and now we have them in a photo book.

looking for fun things for teen girls to do in each country

Give them a world map and have them see where each country is. Then, go to the KidSpot places and have the Cast Member there sign the map. The girls could even try and say hello in that native language.

They can visit the shops and try and find something under $5. Or a piece of candy for each country. Or listen to the music for a while just while walking through and wait for an entire song. They can wait for the clock in Germany to go off at the hour and see what happens (they have to be watching the clock). Have the look to see what is different about the clock in America (check out the number four - it is correct for the time the pavilion represents).

But quite honestly - get them on Wikipedia and just read for themselves.

We did the hat thing last trip when my son was 15. He really got into it after the first couple which I made him do. It was something fun for us to do while the little ones did KidCots. And it makes for great scrapbook pages!

I like this idea! Always looking for something new; going to see if DS's 9 & 12 want to do it in Nov. :thumbsup2

Pick a Pearl in Japan:-)
Get a caricature drawn in France.
Maybe do Agent P.
Buy earrings / necklace from Bead Outpost and support a good cause at the same time:-)
My DD's can spend hours in Japan Pavilion / store. They also like having a kaki gori and watching the drummers in Japan.
