I bit the bullet and added an extra day after all to see Epcot. Might be going with my cousin, but even if she and her family don't go, I have 3 small kids. Frozen is a must, Nemo, Figment and Agent P. We plan to do a super-condensed version of the World Showcase. So tell me your top 3 absolute must-sees in the World Showcase, even if it's something I already mentioned. We'd like to do passports, so we plan to hit Kidcot. But what would you NOT miss? Not necessarily in every country, just overall. Aside from Anna/Elsa, characters aren't a priority except maybe Mulan. My kids will be 8(boy), 6(boy), and 4(boy). Hers will be 5 (girl), 4(boy) and 2(boy).

Okay, I like the attraction in Mexico. My little Princesses enjoyed that attraction more then many in the MK.

I like the entertainment in each Country. You can get a schedule, the performers are a lot of fun.

Not an activity.. But Maybe a little caramel delicious treat from karamell kuche in Germany? They have so many goodies to choose from

With the ages of the kids & the fact they are mostly boys my top 3 picks are: Frozen, Japanese Drummers & Chinese Acrobats

With more than 3 items I'd add in the store in Japan if the kids like video games/animation. Pick a Pearl for the 5 year old girl. Meeting Mulan is also cool for boys, she asks them about their warrior moves and it's adorable! My kids had a lot of fun with the Red Phone booth that's over in the UK area too. LOL The act in Italy is also fun for the kids.

As far as food my kids top picks are: shaved ice in Japan, ice cream in France
Next visit we want to try the cronuts at the Refreshment port & the crepes in France. I've heard the Karamel place in Germany is awesome but we don't go because of DS's nut allergies.

I'll second the Chinese acrobats and, with the exception of the 2yo, my favorite WS performer, Serveur Amusant in France :)

Edit to add it's not that I think the 2yo won't like it, just not sure it will hold the interest of a 2yo. But he's been holding the interest of my DS's since they were about 6!

My kids have always loved the gift shops, especially in Morocco (feels like a museum filled with tons of cool stuff!) and Japan. They also like choosing treats, and France and Italy gift shops have inexpensive wrapped chocolates you buy by the piece.

American Adventure is great for families. It is nice and cool inside and once those lights go down, your kids will get a much needed nap. And the show is really good too, so you will enjoy it and the kids will get a good rest. Total win/win. :-)

My kids liked the boat ride in Mexico (ages 4 and 7). Their favorite thing was getting their Duffy fan thing signed in each country.

I should have mentioned we will have 2 sensory kids. My 6 year old and her 4 year old are cut from the same cloth - little smarties but can't handle overbearing sounds and sudden, startling things.

This is my tentative plan for the day. We are purposefully eating at close in order to miss Illuminations, due to the sensory issues. Would much rather close out our day with Mickey Mouse than melt downs.
Breakfast at Akershus
Anna/Elsa
Frozen Ever After
Nemo
Turtle Talk
Soarin
Spaceship Earth
Test Track
Imagination with Figment
Mexico/Gran Fiesta Boat Tour
Dinner at closing at Garden Grill

Add in time to just explore the countries. There's a nice train garden outside of one and lots of other sights to just take in. Also the aquarium area at turtle talk with crush we could spend hours in.

....Frozen is a must, Nemo, Figment and Agent P. ....

The Agent P Adventure can take a lot of time to make it through, but it does take you through most countries. But if the kids need help, you may find you spend a lot of time in the countries without seeing much yourself.

I really enjoyed many of the street entertainers.

Thanks for the heads up. I figure we'll allow them a certain amount of time to do it. My oldest will be the most interested and he's pretty smart and good at figuring things out. I have mostly seen the countries as a kid and teen, but I won't mind a cursory look again. We will be returning to Disney in four years and I plan to do 2 days in Epcot then and 1 entire day in the World Showcase, so we will all get an expanded look later.

Also, does anyone have or can get a copy of the tasks? I won't show the kids ahead of time, but maybe I could get the answers ahead of time to be able to point the in the right direction.

Looks like all fun stuff. The order of the last four will mean a lot of back and forth.

My lovable DS (13) has ADHD/Autism and he carries earplugs in his backpack.
