Okay apparantly my dh and I have not done Epcot to its fullest. There are rides in the WS portion of the park?

Can someone tell me what they are and what they are like?

Thanks in advance!

There are two in World Showcase Maelstrom in Norway and El Rio del Tiempo in Mexico. Maelstrom is a Viking cruise similar to Pirates of the Caribbean (but much shorter) that goes past scenes of Vikings loading their ships, polar bears, trolls, and a flume drop that almost takes you over a waterfall. El Rio is a slower ride that's sort of a cross between a Mexican tunnel of love and it's a small world at MK. Cute, fun, a tad outdated, and never a line.

There are also movies in China, Canada, and France and the American Adventure show just in case you missed those two.

Jen4974,

Two rides: El Rio del Tiempo in Mexico, and Maelstrom in Norway. Both are good.

Have you seen the films in the other countries?

Maelstom in Norway is fun and short. If the line is long, I'd say skip it and come back later.

The Mexico ride, El Rio del Tiempo, I believe that translates to watch bad Mexican TV while on a boat ride. I don't know Spanish, but I don't think they'd lie to us :)

Since anything other than a gift shop or museum are titled attractions (rides) then everything mentioned is a ride. The movies are interesting and of quality, especially Canada and France and American Adventure is not to be missed. It is without a doubt the finest AA attraction ever. Well done and emotionally charged. El Rio is a Mexican "Small world" ride, cute and worthy of at least one look if for no other reason than to soak in the atmosphere inside the pavilion. Maelstrom is a short but interestingly different boat ride. See them all if you can.
