The rooms were comfortable, but the king size bed in the Master bedroom was loud to me. I had a hard time sleeping because my son and husband move alot and the bed made noise. It was very attractive looking, very well furnished, with robes in the closet. The kitchen was nice and we cooked a full meal there. The food shop was "expensive" according to my mom, I didn't go into it. The balcony we had was fabulous - overlooking the pool and totally screened in! No bugs.
We didn't go in the pool because it was cold to us but it looked nice, if you can forgive the huge piles of dirt from the construction. The location is right behind the Nick Hotel on 536 - very easy to get to the parks if you have a car. I don't know if transportation is offered.
We had the evening snack which was nachos and cheese, and the morning breakfast of muffins. They give you a schedule of food times when you check in.
Not the most customer service oriented staff, however, they didn't give any directions on whether we were supposed to dig in and open the fridge to get drinks, they said that check in time isn't until 4 when we were there at 3:45 - and she was serious! We finally got into a room when she saw the baby we were holding who needed a diaper change!
Nice place. I would go there again and if I had time to spend in the room or the hotel I would know more, but were there 1 night at Christmastime and we were busy at the parks and opening presents.
Where did you guys find all the good prices? Lowest I could see was 219. Ali, can you give a little more detail? Were the rooms comfortable? How about the pool? Is it easy to find? Is the on-site store satisfactory for snacks/food?
