We are trying to trade out some weeks for resorts in San Diego at either the Tamarack Beach Resort or the Four Seasons Residence Club Aviara in North San Diego. Has anyone ever stayed at either of these resorts? What is the likelihood to find a match for June or July for 06?

The Four Seasons Residence Club Aviara has a reputation as as one of the top timeshare resorts in the world.

Getting a trade into any Southern California coastal timeshare in the summer requires long-term planning and a lot of luck. The odds of getting the Four Seasons Residence Club Aviara for this summer at this late date are about the same as the odds of winning Powerball Lotto.

By the way, on the Southern California coast, the sun is rarely seen in June. It's called June Gloom. It tends to get better after the 4th of July.

Maybe I'll get lucky with the Powerball and Southern California!! ha I know we started dreaming a little late about this trip but my DH started thinking this while we were at WDW in January. If not, we will hook up in an exchange in Sarasota, Florida or back to WDW!!

We stayed at the Four Seasons last month because I bought a three day stay on e-bay that same day for 350.00. It was a one bedroom and it was beautiful. We nervous staying there when we didn't know anything about it, but it was perfect. Marble bathrooms, nice kitchen and the four seasons hotel is also amazing. The resort is a little aways from other things that you might want to do, but it is not far from the highway. You would love it.
