For those of you interested in the World Passport option, I put in a search in mid-June for 3 resorts in Italy and the 2 Marriott's in Costa del Sol, Spain. I was very open with my dates--any week from April-July 2006. I just got a call from member services that there is availability at the Marriott Playa Andaluza in April! They let us know that the resort is currently still under construction until 2009 and told us to call the resort with any questions and call them back within 48 hours. We called the resort and they told us all facilities (restaurant, pool, etc.) will be open by April so now all we have to do is give member services a call back :) This was the first time I had used World Passport collection and the process was not as bad as I thought it would be. I have researched the resort on tug, but if any of you have experience with this resort, please let me know. Thanks!

That is not a high demand but not low either (Gold season). Please report back how it goes. What unit type did you get?

We got a 1 bedroom April 2-9, which is considered low season. I don't remember the exact points quoted, but it was less than 130 I believe. We will confirm with MS tomorrow. There are not many reviews for this resort, so I will definitely post one when I get back.

I didn't think this resort had 1 BR. Only 2 BR non lockoff's with 3 BR lockoff's generating a studio and 2 BR. The points exchanges for a studio are 106, 123 & 134 for the various seasons, you may want to check your info. Also they only trade for 2 and I suspect only have a kitchen similar to a DVC studio.
