World of Color Superthread

It looks like you have to pay for the picnic boxes when you reserve and they are non-refundable? Is that everyone else's take on this?

Can book them 30 days in advance.

From my confirmation:
"No refunds, exchanges or other discounts apply."

Yup, no refunds or exchanges. Our confirmation paper that I printed says the same thing. I guess it's just like when you prepay for the Fantasmic dessert package.

Let me ask again. Where specifically is the area?

All around the waterfront show area (facing toward the funwheel). The standing area is tiered at different levels (lowest being in front).

Maybe this helps you:

Thanks I'm totally aware of where Paradise Park is.

I want to know where exactly the 4 or 4.4k people are watching the show from. Albort claims to know but hasn't been specific on where. Other posters are mentioning viewing from other areas as well. Some of the information is now in direct conflict with what Disney itself has reported.

Along the entire waterfront area. I can't find a picture of the area empty or I would post it for you.

I also am confused by your question. I had assumed the people were watching the show from the viewing area Disney designed. That is what it is for.

See the OP
Will there be seating for World of Color?

No. A new viewing area was constructed in Paradise Pier to accomodate standing guests. WoC will be viewed like Disney fireworks by finding a spot to stand. See this link for current photos Photos and Commentary of World of Color Viewing Area.

Here's a photo that may help those of you who need to visualize the area.

Keep in mind the photo is almost 2 months old, the area was still under construction, and it probably does not show the entire area. (This is why I tend to just "go with the flow" and not try to pre-visualize everything, but we all work differently in our planning.)
