However, I do have two issues with WoC. The first is that I think the entire Lion King/Mufasa death scene was 100% unnecessary. While I realize that not everything has to be happy-go-lucky all of the time, I just felt it was a bit much for this type of show. It was not managed while either. They showed a lot of that particular death scene and then continued the saddness by including images of Simba with his parents before Mufasa's death (as well as others with their parents). It didn't heighten the bond and relationship between parents and their children like I think they were aiming for. Instead, the entire scene was a put off for me.
I also think that this show should have been put into a separate venue like Fantasmic at WDW. It should have seating and the horrific amount of machinery should not be in view all of the time like it is right now. I think having all of that laying out there really wreaks havoch on the asthetics at DLR. The fact that they could not have seating and, instead, people have to figure out a way to get there to see it is ridiculous. You can't even scope a spot like you do for everything else at Disney (i.e. parades, fireworks, etc.). If DLR could not afford the space needed for such a venue due to size, I believe that WoC should have built in WDW where there's more space. Of course, that would only negate the fact that they are trying to bring more people into DLR with this attraction.
