I have WoC picnic for Saturday, October 16 and will see WoC at 9:00. My question is, would I be able to make it back to Disneyland to see Fantasmic at 10:30? Thanks for help and advice!

Well, I managed to do it ;) So it's possible. We even got to see the fireworks as well. You probably wont snag a prime spot but if you head straight to New Orleans Square after WOC but it's possible. Keep in mind you'll be walking out of DCA with a large crowd and then you'll be maneuvering around the people watching the fireworks.

It will just be me and DD12 so I think we can boogie over there and see some of it. Thank you!!

;) Hope you get to see do both in one night. We just popped into a viewing section that didn't seem to have too many people near the bridge over the POTC entrance by Cafe Orleans. There was space closer to the water but it worked for us.

Yes, you'll be able to do it. Take the railroad from Main Street to Orleans Square instead of manuevering the crowd.

Never thought of doing that ;) Better idea. We couldn't because we made a pit stop by BTMRR to watch the fireworks and the only way to make it back there fast enough was to haul you-know-what :lmao:

I'm not sure the RR runs during the fireworks ... does it? Or am I thinking of WDW?

We were able to see WOC and F! in the same night, no problem. Plus it was even on July 4th where the esplande was full of extra people watching the 4th of July fireworks ... and there were A LOT of people there. We made it with some time to spare.

One thing I like to do, is go down mainstreet and around the hub counter clockwise. It depends on the timing, but if you get in thier is a jamb because people leave the fireworks and goto F! and peoples from F! are coming back to the hub. But if you get in while fireworks are going there is a roped area all around. I then cut through Carnation Plaza into Frontierland. This basically lets you flank all the departing F! viewers and get in behind them.

As far as I know, the train doesn't run during the fireworks, but it will start up not terribly long after. It's then a short trip to New Orleans Square. If you can't get to the hub before fireworks are over (which I'd say would be difficult) I would think you'd save time (and aggravation) just waiting for the train.
