Yes, I take Italian 2 right now.

We have chinese, latin, spanish, italian, ASL, french, and pretty soon portugese at my school!

I speak spanish so I didnt take that just to get an easy A.

I think Latin would be so much cooler, but French is better to put on colleges and stuff and for jobs.

I take french immersion.
Basically, from 1-8, all of my classes were in french (minus specialties and english) and now I have french science, french music, french pe, french personal development, french, french social studies, etc.

So a bunch of my classes, are french.
I speak pretty fluently in french.
But high school is going to murder it. My science teacher can hardly speak french, according to my friend, the french teacher can't. the only one that isn't a phony is my homeroom teacher (personal development, music and social studies). The kids from other schools CANNOT SPEAK IT. It's awful to listen to them. This girl didn't know what benevolat meant (it means volunteer, we learned this in like grade 4) and kept on saying 'annie' instead of 'ainsi'.

In other words, yes, I've taken Spanish since 5th grade (which was 6 whole years) and this year that I'm in now will be my 7th. From 5th grade to 10th grade, a language (either French or Spanish) was required. One you got into high school at 9th grade, you could pick up Latin as well, but you had to pass the Regents exam in 10th grade before you could stop. I have no intention of doing so.

It's required that I take a language. My school, being a science geared school, only offers spanish. Spanish III isn't open to freshman, so I'm taking Spanish II again. However, due to block scheduling, I don't take it until January.

It's required to take a language for two years to pass my H.S.

Right now I am taking ASL 1 and plan to take ASL 2,3,4.

Our school only offer's Spanish,French and ASL.

I take Spanish. I'm in 8th grade taking 10th grade Spanish. Fun Fun.
I wish I was taking French for ballet, but ehh. I guess Spanish will help me more. (unless I get a job in dance?)

But our school has Spanish, French, and German. And the HS has Spanish, French, German, and Latin.

I was supposed to be in French 2 this year.
But it interfeared with Wind Ensamble.

So, I chose Wind Ensamble,
and now I'm stuck in Spanish, and I really hate it. I hate it hate it hate it!

I miss french so much.

I wish I couldv'e done Italian or Sign Language, or Latin, but they were pretty much full...

I really don't like Spanish, or my spanish teacher.

im in 8th grade and i just started Italian.

french german and welsh.

i've always had welsh considering i live in wales, they're trying to save it i say there's a reason it's dying.
In 6th grade they introduced french to everyone.
In 7th grade the top 2 sets had german and the 2 below had spanish while the rest had life skills.

That's all we can take. Welsh is required until 6th form i can drop french and german next year(9th grade) or i can choose to do a french/german GCSE

I actually want to major in French in College. I absolutely love learning languages so I totally hate the fact that my school only offers 3. French, Spanish, and German. I want to take Latin and Italian!
