I agree with you there. Will didn't look all too thrilled either. I think both of them are at a point in their careers where that kind of show is, I don't want to say beneath them, but just kind of silly, especially considering the marketability of the competitors. I know for sure it was part of Kelly's contract, I saw a copy of what the contestants on American Idol had to sign and they were obligated at a future date to perform in a "World Idol' competition.

On pure singing ability alone, the guy who won was STREETS ahead of the rest. To sing Beautiful Day better than Bono really takes some doing.
