Any idea what the best way to get from POP to World Center Resort would be? What about from World Center Resort to any of the Disney Parks... specifically Magic Kingdom?

We'll be having a split stay in July, 1st two nights @ Pop, next 4 @ World Center Resort and then last night back @ Pop.

Thanks in advance!

I think a taxi is your best option from POP to Marriott.

The World Center does run shuttles to the park, not sure if they are free and the schedule, but that should be easy to get.

We love the World Center Marriott-- it's really close to WDW,but be sure and ask for a Tower room, the rooms in the outer wings are really, really in need of renovations!!

Thanks for the info! I'm not sure about requesting rooms, as the reason we're there is a conference but I'll try to request it!

They say they have transportation to Disney for a nominal fee. Does anyone know how much the fee is? Does it depend on the park you are going to and do they have a regular schedule? Trying to figure out our best transportation options.

It would be cheaper to rent a car probably, if you're going to the parks every day. Or use a taxi.

I'd look into renting a car last day at Pop then return it once you get back to Pop, if you're using ME.

Otherwise, you'll be using taxis a lot, but at least that's more convenient than the Marriott shuttle.

I know this is an old post, but planning an upcoming stay at the timeshare at the Orlando World Center (Sabal Palms). I just called about a shuttle to the parks today (in case DH and I end up splitting up and he needs to get to a park where we are). The lady at the Marriott said it was $17 round trip.

We LOVE the MWC! They recently underwent a huge renovation and added even more water slides and such!

Their transportation to/from the parks is definitely not ideal. Contacting Mears separately would be the least expensive. Personally, I would just rent a car. It's cheaper and much easier because of the hotel's proximity to the parks.

I agree - we stayed there 11 of our 15 nights in August 2012, and would not have gone without a car! This coming trip my DH is joining us (he didn't last trip), and he tends to like to spend 2 or 3 hours in the gym (it's his way to unwind) so my DD and I (DS is not coming) may go to a park. He may just take a taxi to meet us, but I wanted to find out about shuttles. It probably won't be ideal for our situation, but I can see it being good for a family where someone is at meetings at the resort and the other wants to go to the parks, and maybe they don't have a car. Definitely at Sabal Palms we drove every day (except the one or two that we hung out and relaxed).
