Works christmas do this weekend

Does anyone else have there works do this weekend. Im going to mine tonight and i'm really not looking forward to it but i'm hoping once i'm there i will really enjoy it

I may be a little worse for wear in the morning and i'm working at 11 till 5:30 tomorrow too

I'm sure you'll have a great time. I have mine on 16th. I know it's a good night as I've always gone as the wife of one of the partners, this year I started working there too, so now I go as an employee!!!

Never had an office event at the weekend, only during the week for me.

Hi Michelle

I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself once your there, is it a partners 'do' as well or just work mates ? Is there a special theme or a dinner/dance ? We've got DH's works 'do' next weekend and it's the Las Vegas night I mentioned on a thread a while back. I'm not sure how it's going to be as there is a meal, unlimited drinks, a disco and a fairground (sounds fun doesn't it, so long as I don't fall off the merry-go-round whilst under the influence).

Dont go to works Christmas parties anymore, I live 40 miles from work and cant be bothered for the trip home. 2 years ago I spent the whole xmas "do" afternoon stuck in the Royal Bank of Scotland after they managed to lose a cheque to buy a car. Brings back too many bad memories for me so i dont go.

It was really a really good night I did alot of , and plenty of free There were alot of us there 32 in total and everyone was having a good time. Was home for just after 1 but i didn't feel too great yesterday

I couldn't go out everynight like i used to a few years ago.
