Hello ladies. I hope everyone is getting through their week okay.
Vicky: Oh, I would really dislike that little kids were starting at the front and stopping in front of me. That's really bad parenting! But, great job on your time! That's definitely an amazing time!
I'm happy that the combo of journaling and working with the kick your butt pt, is keeping you on track with your healthy eating.
Jackie: Actually, I hear that running slower burns more fat, at least according to Jeff Galloway's book that I'm reading for my class.
So, that's good. But, I hear you on the runaway eating. My god, will I ever stop? You could still make that MCM time. It has very little to do with your weight. Just focus on running injury free.
No more surgeries!
Manda: Oh, mexican is one of my biggest weaknesses. I just cannot stop eating when we go to a mexican restaurant. Plus, frozen margaritas!!!!! This must be so exciting for you, training for your first running race. I'm sorry, but whether you are a walker, jogger, slogger, wogger or sprinter, it's the same distance and counts the same. Well, actually, I give walkers more credit because they're stuck out there longer.
AFM: I'll start with the bad news: apparently, I just can't stop eating! I have gained 3 pounds, which is miraculous, because it should be 10! We're going to be heading out for all you can eat chinese here in an hour or so, and I'm going to enjoy it immensely, but, then, I've got to get it together. Seriously, any excuse to binge at this point.
Running is also a little bit sidelined. I am still running 4 to 5 days a week, but the miles are down. I only managed 2 on Monday and 3.1 today. I'm going to have to run about 20 this weekend to keep my weekly total up, and the thought of that is just draining! But, with 3 days to do it, who knows? Maybe I could do a 12 mile day and then, just 2 runs of 4 each. But, my weekend is just so stinking busy!!!!!!
I've managed zumba at least once a week, which has been a lifesaver. Last night, my assistant instructor had her first class at a new location. She asked me to come along to give an example. It was fun, but it took 30 minutes longer than usual, because she had to explain the footwork for each song. But, it was still a good workout. The ladies that came had all never been to a zumba class, so they were really funny. Giggling and laughing the whole time. Apparently, most women don't do body rolls and figure eights with their hips on a regular basis. Who knew?
School is going well. I'm afraid for my A in chemistry. I'm at about a 90.60 right now, which about as low as I can get for that A. We have our 2nd huge exam tomorrow, so tonight is massive studying, again. We've already had 6 quizzes in 3 weeks, and 2 tests. Mixed with the 3 algebra exams and 2 running exams I've already taken, and I think I'm losing my mind. Frank has started making fun of me.
I can't make any decisions any more. My brain is fried. So, when he asks me for an opinion on something, I have no idea. I can't even remember to order a drink at a restaurant. Seriously, no more room in my brain for anything but school. And, it's just going to get worse in the fall! Ugh!!!! What did I get myself in to?

with ds's help. He had a half day yesterday, so he was home to check on his poor sick mother, right after he made sure I was well enough to download itunes (I listen to the clips before I let him purchase the music).

I am so ready! Well, not really, but I will be!

Sorry I'm so tardy, glad you have joined us!

For getting to back for Princess next year!!!!!
I was looking at my fall schedule and I don't think I'll be able to run for 5 solid weeks. I hope that my fitness level doesn't drop too far during that time. But, with in class time of 9 hours, 5 days a week, there's just no way. I have a good 3-5 hours of homework and studying per night now, so can you imagine what it'll be like with 4 classes, instead of 2?
for your glutes! Is there any way to get a scan to see if there's something serious going on? The five weeks rest sounds like a good idea even if it means not running for a while. Are you coming to Disney in January?
His only camp experience before this was a nature camp. Very different. Then, the weekend after that, school is out and we head to my grandmothers in west central Texas. I truly do not want to go, but love my grandma and want to see her. It's over 100 everyday for as far as the eye can see, and she doesn't have air conditioning. Just a swamp cooler (don't ask me, I don't understand what it is). All I know is it's really hot in her house all the time, and she never wants to leave. Oh well. It's only 3 days of my life, right?
Have fun in Providence!
Hopefully, you'll be able to get it together soon.
I hate running in the rain.
