Happy Friday ladies!
Jeanne: Beautiful pics. I love the gloves and mittens! I also love your son's tie and your dress and all the colors. The brighter the better for me!

The article sounds very cool. You have had a banner year, so it should be noticed!
Thanks for the blister/chafing advice. I ended up using my Eucerin cream and putting nursing pads over them. They are completely healed. Although, I may have scars. But, if I ever get the surgery you were lucky enough to have, I'll end up with scars in that same area anyway.
Jackie: Congrats on the new TV! I couldn't live without our flat panel anymore. We now have 4 of them.

I even have one mounted on a swivel on the wall in the kitchen. I don't realy even watch TV, but when I cook, I enjoy it.
I had a funny feeling that you would be debating that race again.

The thought of being able to do it healthy and really give it all you have is probably quite tempting. I hope you are able to get everything fixed, and healed, and removed and get well. Do you have a surgery date yet?
Maria: I'm happy to hear that fruit can make you so happy. You sound very chipper even in writing.

I am with Jackie though, I'm doing more of a chocolate thing than a fruit thing. For some reason, I'm not losing weight. Hmmm?
Vicky: You are so motivated that I know you can lean out. How lean are we talking? You're already pretty lean. In 2.5 weeks, you can't lose too much. But, cutting out sugars and maybe all refined things should help. You won't have any problem with workouts.
AFM: Well, I ran 7 miles yesterday and the glute flared up as if I had done a long run. I'm trying to get outside for a 14 miler, and it's hard to get motivated when you are hurting. But, if I don't go today, I won't go all weekend. The weather is turning tonight.
I told my zumba instructor that we need to stop doing arms. She was shocked, because I'm always begging for arms. I showed her the "guns" and said she had given me guy muscles.

She really has. I don't like how big my shoulders and biceps have gotten. I guess I can live with it, but I don't want to get any bigger. However, my triceps are still saggy. I think it's the unfortunate side effect of my 40s, but I work them out all the time.
I got all the presents wrapped today. I still have some coming in the mail, but I had a pile so big that I lost my guest room. Plus, I didn't want Harrison to accidentally stumble upon something that he shouldn't.

I put other people's names on his stuff so I could put it under the tree. One of his presents is a big
Lego set, and if he were to shake it, he would know instantly. But, if it's his 2 year old cousin's present, who knows what it is.
I have a party tomorrow night that I am dreading. My husbands first girlfriend from high school is having a wedding reception. She and hubby have stayed friends this whole time, but I don't like her. She's kind of a b****. Her new hubby is very nice, but they are the only 2 people we know at the party. What's the minimum we can stay without being rude?

We are going to use Harrison as our excuse to leave, but I still don't want to be rude.
Well, I guess that's it for me. I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!
