Good Morning, Lean Lovelies!
I stuck with my eating plan yesterday, and I did 6M of incline walking this AM. I went a little slower and lowered the incline a bit, because my knees were killing me on Sunday!
I have pretty much the same menu as yesterday. I'm having lasagna for dinner, so I dumped the afternoon Babybel since I'll be getting plenty of dairy.
Today's reward is new bondibands! I think tomorrow I'm going to do the facial I didn't fit in Sunday. I'm running out of rewards, and I can't bankrupt the family by shopping every day
Beth -- Your goals sound good! And you sound like you're feeling better today. It is crazy how weight can fluctuate. I did everything I was supposed to do yesterday, and I was up .2 today. I'm trying to not let that bother me as I know it's nothing and will be gone tomorrow, but even that tiny gain is disheartening. And you are training for a marathon -- of course you need to eat more, and it is so hard to find the balance -- you are doing great, hang in there just a little longer!
Jackie -- Those days with actual exercise add up! I'm at 4 days in row as of this morning, it's not much but I'm committed to make it to the end of May at the very least.
I hope the exercises help and you start to enjoy your shorter runs again. It is so frustrating when you don't know what's wrong and you just want to move.
Vicky -- DH has been so cranky, I'm not bringing our vacation plans up until he's in a better mood. He has tons of stress at work, so I'm going to let it ride until this weekend. I laid everything out for him last weekend, and he asked to think about it. I don't really have a goal weight, my goal is to get to 150 and see how that looks and feels. I know that sounds very high to you, but from where I started it looks like climbing Mt. Everest to get there.
The lowest adult weight I can remember is 169, and that was when I was working out at the Y 6 days a week and I was 15 years younger...of course, I was eating junk all the time, so I'm sure I could have weighed less if I had tried to put it all together.
Ok, I'm off to actually do some work...
Everyone have a Happy Tuesday!
Maria

for you! I can't imagine losing half of my work mates, I think I would have a ton of survivor's guilt -- and like you, a few months off sounds lovely right now
and they just have a way of making you know you will be all right. I hope you have a fabulous time at the Ragnar Relay.
And it is great to put yourself first. Some days, you just have to do that. My favorite "I don't really need it" extravagance is sometimes a pair of
to having all the laundry done! Good luck at the relay!
It sounds like you are getting in some good miles walking and running. And, I'm glad you'll be running the next race with your friend. You need no drama and a good pace to get through it!
I ate great yesterday, and got tons of exercise in. I've eaten great for 2 meals today and have gone for 2 walks and a 5 mile run. I'm going to catch for my pitcher son when he gets home. Then, I think I'll send my hubby and son ahead to practice tonight and take the dog for a 1.5 mile run each way to practice. I need to keep busy or I will eat! Hubby and son ate healthy yesterday too.
I used to only run on it, but when it broke over the winter, I just got used to being outside. I'm sorry your run didn't go well, but at least you got it done! I did get the mowing in, thank goodness, because it's supposed to rain all day and for the next 2! Where are my sunny, hot days?
Do you still enjoy PP? I stopped watching after they cut the baby out of Violet. I just couldn't get into it after that. I don't know what they'd have to do bring me back -- it just seemed like all they do is sleep with each other in different combinations, and it got old.
I am very fond of the crocs, they're just so comfy on my feet, and the cleos I love are really barely there...
I did have a smoothie for breakfast this morning, so there has been some fruit in my diet!
But DH wants to run when he gets home from work tonight (not until 8:00), so maybe, just maybe, the day will be salvageable after all!
