Am I being to sensitive. We are group of 5 within the Acctg dept. we sit with about 20 people. I'm friendly with my supervisoer(known him for 18 years) and get along well.
However, his assistant, a co-worker(of which he knows outside the office) and him go to lunch, have the lotto pools without asking myself and the other women I work with to join. They never leave together or come back together.
They try to hide it by being 2 minutes apart.
The big lotto last week, i was going to ask if all five of us wnted to chip in, when I saw they had their tickets already. I joked about it a bit, but they said I would be apart of their winnings if they won. haha
By the way we are all women except for the supervisor.
