Reach out. Why not just say call?

This one bugs me too. I prefer to call or email or at least contact. For fun, I sometimes overuse the phrase just for the sake of making fun of it. Sadly, I do not think that anybody notices the comedic value in what I am trying to do. Oh well, I will have to put a pin in that, and circle back to it later.
