He is gone........we had someone come out yesterday to do it He was dehydrated and not doing well at all. Very sad............but what nice people. They handled it all so well and he didn't have to go into a carrier, car or the vets (which he hates).
Best wishes with yours.
Oh I'm so sorry, Nancy. My Kippie is hanging on to every thread of life. I cannot believe she has lasted this long having had her last meal last Friday!!! When she walks she almost falls down as she is so weak.
aww....poor baby. Stormy had only eaten a bite or two a day for the last 5 and couldn't barely walk also.
The vet confirmed it was time............DD was worried that we shouldn't do it, so getting that confirmation helped her a lot.
Now we have one 18 year old left
Since "talking" with you earlier, Nancy, Kippie has disappeared. We live near a large wooded area so we think she might have gone in there. Sorry Ed, to hear about your kitty. Our 18 year old Tiger died last year (in that same wooded area) last April.
Oh, no. I hope you find Kippie. Stormy never went outside since we moved here. He lived in our room pretty much, so makes it really hard to go in there.
