Ok here we go. I have decided to try out

again as my first word. I haven't thought any about what would be my 1 2 punch though so maybe it will come to me as I play. My old one two punch was excellent even though word 1 was slightly suboptimal so I am a bit loathe to give it up and may go back to it because it served me so well.

First word w G w w w Wouldn't you know it, I need that strong second rando word.

I'm going to try Irony because well it is a bit ironic I don't have a strong second already in mind and the first day I do it, I need a strong rando 2nd. Hey. Sometimes you go with the thinking person's solution and others you go with the flow.

Second word w Y G w G OOOO. Not too bad. In fact very good. Between the two randos I have ? G G G G That yellow makes no sense in slot 1 so it has to go in 4.

Third word G G G G G Got it in 3. Now let's see what wordlebot says.

Wordlebot didn't like my second word and gave it a skill of 67. Oh really, how did YOUR second word which you obviously rated a skill of 99 work out for you wordlebot?

Uh w w w w w. HAHAHAHHAHAHA Don't be jealous you bucket of bolts. Wordlebot then used a third throw away and got it in 4.

So what would I have gotten out of my former first two words today? My first word would have gotten me
w Y w w w so I'd definitely used my rando second which between the two would have yielded Y Y G ? ? The new combo worked better getting me one extra letter and luckily in the right spots too. But right spotting the letters won't always be the case. It would have been a very tough 3 under the old combo. Most likely a 4 or maybe a 5 or 6 if I got unlucky.

I would’ve had this in 3, if I chose the first word that came to me.

And following @PollyannaMom ’s robot face yesterday, my Wordle looks like stairs today.

First word
w w G G G I will definitely be building off of this word today rather than use a rando second.

I can think of a few words that go here. I'm going for two and not going to use a throwaway. I tried the one I did because if wrong, more choices I could think of would be eliminated and it was the first word I thought of.

Second word
G G G G G Got it. Worked out for me today.

I will use a second rando if needed for word 2 if word 1 doesn't reveal enough but I'm not a big fan of throwaways this early. I will use them later if need be to avoid a loss. 2s are rare. So when I get lucky and get three Greens first time out, I'm going for it.

Old first word would have yielded me
Y G Y Y w I would not have used the old second. I'd have probably got a 2-4 depending which is the same as what I was thinking I would get after word 1 was played above.
