It's a deal a day site, usually have great prices on one items and it lasts the whole day or until it's sold out.

A woot-off is a lot of items that are being sold, when it's sold out they go onto the next item.

Bag o' cr@p is whatever they feel like putting in there. I've seen people get 150+ personal am/fm radios, one speaker, cameras, etc. It costs .99c and shipping is $5. The $5 is flat rate for anything. I've seen them sell those rascal scooters (motorized wheelchairs) for $600+ and it had $5 shipping. And mattresses too.

Can you say Shmily1's been soooo close to getting one but the site locked me up right at the end of check out!! I did just get me a Shark hard surface steam cleaner though because I love my Shark steam mop!!

I got a bag o' crap once. Had a XXXL tshirt and a little girl bath kit (comb, lotion, mirror, body soap--all in a plastic see thru bag). Even though that tshirt was huuuuge, it is the softest, most comfortable tshirt and great for sleeping in. It was this one:

How do you find the BOC? Do you keep checking the home page until it appears? I've never seen one.

Easiest thing to do is get the wootalyzer and it will sound off an alarm when the item changes during a woot-off. One of these woot checkers actually gave the option for just sounding an alarm when there was a boc. The issue is there is a lag and by the time you are ready for it, it's already gone or the site is so bogged down, you can't get it.

Also, be logged in today. It's easier if you are already logged in and ready if one comes up. When the site it bogged down, it's impossible to log in and buy one.

Be logged in AND have the security code from your credit card available. A month or so ago I HAD A BOC but by the time I entered my security code I LOST MY BOC!!! Oh the humanity......

How do you know it is a woot off? I went to the sight and see they are selling a dyson vacuum, but it doesn't look any different to me than normal...are the spinning yellow lights the indication? How often will the item change?

Is kids.woot doing a woot off too?

Yup, those spinning yellow lights. You can tell by looking at the bar below the item how long it will last. Sometimes it lasts a few seconds (BOC!!) and sometimes it lasts a long time (like 45 minutes is a long time to me, ADHD ).

Oh I am sorry it didn't work. I didn't try it so I had no idea. I got it from Slickdeals.
They are usually pretty good about that sort of thing.

If you click the community link, it shows all the woots. There wasn't a boc. I stopped looking yesterday when they put the tshirts up, they took the the lights off, so I thought it ended. I was amazed when I looked this morning and it was back up.

I am signed up for the newsletters, serendipity is what they sent me for a code and it says it's good until sept 30. When you put it in, did you use all caps? that might have been the reason it didn't take it.

I can forward the email if you want, it was sent Aug 17.
