Yay!!! My wait list wishes have come true!!! I've been checking ::cough, STALKING cough:: the member site to see if my 8/19 wait list came through so we wouldn't have to move resorts TWICE (booked 8/18 and 8/20-23 at 1bdr at SSR) during our stay. Low and behold, I checked it before bed last night, before work this morning, and of course, it was the first thing I did when getting home from work today and IT WAS FINALLY THERE!!!!



Looks like someone ( ) was watching over us and decided to send some pixie dust our way!!!!

How do you check your waitlist status? I just made a reservation with a waitlist request today. Do you just check your reservation to see if it changed?

Yes - On the members website, I kept checking the "Vacation Details" link. When the wait list hadn't come through it just showed my 2 separate reservations. Tonight after work, it showed 3 separate reservations including the 19th!

So *very* frequent checks on the members website DOESN'T diminish the chances of having a waitlist come through! (If the DVC charged me everytime I logged on to check, no one would have to pay maintenance fees anymore.) I was terribly afraid I've been jinxing myself. There's hope yet!

Perhaps we should ask member services to email us when the waitlist comes through. Do you think they could?

They send an email when you bank points, so they obviously have the capability. Right?

I have a waitlist (okay, I have three) for December and check very frequently. Receiving an email update or notification would surely make life easier!
