WooooHoooo!!! My fence blew over!!!

We have a privacy fence that the previous owners put in and I've been itching to tear it down and the high winds we've had blew a good chunk of it down so now we have good reason to just get rid of it all.

The wrath of mother nature comes in handy sometimes.

What was wrong with the fence? I like a barrier between myself and my neighbors, but I realize others don't. Is it a personal preferance or an ugly fence?

It was only put up to be a privacy barrier for a hot tub that we are getting rid of. It blocks my view to the back yard.

Well then, I'd be glad it was gone too. I love my backyard and I want to actually SEE it. But, I have to ask, why are you getting rid of the hot tub?

Because I don't have time to sit in it let alone keep it maintained.

We thought it was great when we first got the house but I started reading about all of the maintenance and different chemicals involved and I just don't want to even deal with it. We have a small easy set pool in the summer for the kids and that is hard enough to keep clean.

I know I sound like a kid "why?" .....mom: "because I said so".....kid: "but why?"


I do know your pain pools and spas are a lot more work than people make them out to be. I had a 2 person bathtub in my bathroom while I was in High School. I remember my mom had to come down there and clean the filter out a lot. Lemme tell you, that's no job I want

Spas are great when you don't have to take care of them

Yeah, I just don't have the time or desire to deal with it. Now, if I could get a hot cabana boy down here to come take care of it for me....hmmmm not a bad idea.
