That is IF the stupid woman I'm suing is SMART!!

I got TOOK, yes I said TOOK by a slickster last year. I lease purchased a beautiful townhome in my neighborhood by an owner. I wanted to buy it because my sister was buying the property around the corner but she told me she couldn't sell for 3 years... ... Okay I said and agreed.

Well to make a LOOOONG story short the home was in foreclosure and I had to move out with my tail between my legs after 2 HORRIBLE weeks. It turns out she had done this to several people who paid to move in and then moved out after less than a month....

Well I talked to a legal consultant and was told to take her to civil court. So what did I do? I hit the internet and sent my case to three TV shows, and Judge Judy, my FAVORITE, contacted me!!

I'll let you know what comes of it, it all depends on this woman agreeing but I do think she'd be smart to do it this way because I know she has no money.

I can't WAIT!!!

Wow I love that programme. We can't get anything like that over in the UK so when we are on vacation my DH has a job dragging me away from the TV in the hotel, because I am addicted. When you know the date it goes out I'll try to get a friend of mine in Orlando to tape it and send it over the pond!

I've always liked Judge Judy because, believe it or not, she remnds me of my Mom! My Mom was just as tough, had the same accent and knew when you were lying before you said a word! The defendant is not an American and I don't think she understands that she can be seen through. I would look her straight in the eye and she would lie like a RUG. I can't wait to see how Judge Judy rakes her over the coals!!!

My mother loves Judge Judy.

I don't understand why some people agree to go on these shows. There's no way they can win. They go in without prove of anything. I just don't get it.

Oh my gosh! That woman scares me half to death, there's no way I'd go on that show! But hey, no guts no glory, right?!

I like the show a lot though and I really like her, I'm just scared of her. I always watch it. LOL! For once I'll be able to get Willy to watch it instead of reading the paper and mumbling bad words under his breath at her.

Well, if the woman has no money (and actually even if she does) she does not have to fear civil court. I don't bother taking people to court anymore. I took one person to court and won a $1000 judgment. Never collected a penny. That's all you get - a judgement. You don't actually get any money. It effects their credit, but otherwise no one forces them to pay. I understand that on the court shows that the shows pay the amount which is found in the judgment. If that is true, a court show is the ONLY way you will collect your money.
