Was not really expecting to get our tickets for another couple of weeks but they turned up this morning. Virgin seem to be on the ball. Now we just have to wait 26 days before we can go.

Although we got our tickets this morning we have been out all day and only just checked them properly. It appears that there are two Fairfield Inns. This is the hotel that we are staying in for the beginning of our holiday before the AKL. Guess what,it's the wrong one. Apparently there is one on I-drive and one at LBV and we have got the I-drive one when we wanted the other one. When it was booked they never asked which one but if you go on the website they both come under the same name. Now all we have to do is change it but they are closed until monday.

Oh thats not good about getting the wrong Fairfield, what did your invoice say was that the LBV one or not?

The Paper invoice only says Fairfield Inn. We have emailed the Virgin Rep in Florida who is going to try and sort it and we will try first thing on Monday, however does anyone know how much the charge is to amend a booking

If the holiday price goes up it is often waived but if the same or less then £25 per person.

Having looked at the additional night prices on the VH website Fairfield I Drive is £15 per person per night and Fairfield LBV is £18 per person per night.
If you booked fly drive and then added on the hotels the prices on the invoice should give a clue as to which hotel was actually booked, surprised the invoice does not specify which one to be honest.

The invoice says Fairfield Inn and suites. No address whatsoever, but because we did not know there were two Fairfield inns we never thought nothing of it.

Our tickets arrived yesterday Don't want to scare you but it looks like we are travelling on the same day and we are actually staying at the Fairfield LBV too! Hope the fact we will be there doesn't put you off too much we are relatively normal and it is a nice hotel complex

At this moment in time we are not staying at that one. Will have to wait until tomorrow to try and sort something out. Really hope we can swap as we don't like staying on I-Drive.

Success, after 1/2 hour onto India where we were told it would cost £80 per person to change the booking and that the correct hotel address was on the ticket voucher (Yes we know that but when you only get that 24 days before you go its a bit late) We gave up and phoned the frequent virgin club, wish we had done this the first time, they looked into it and 5 minutes later came back and swapped our booking free of charge as they acknowledged it was an error on their part.
