Just thought I'd add in my 2 cents.... That sounds really exciting, I'm at uni in Newcastle so for the first time in ages I'll get snow around christmas time, it always rains back at home in kent! You've just made me really excited!!

He he! It's lovely when it snows in town....

OT but I hope the mods won't mind me asking- Are you a Newcastle or Northumbria student? I'm a Northumbria gal!

My late Dad used to work there so I know it quite well.... I didn't want to go there to uni as it reminded me too much of him.... It's a lovely campus....

Aww I can imagine. It is a lovely campus indeed, it's so pretty! Town's lovely too, can't wait to start the christmas shopping there, so far I've been doing it all on the internet! I went to see the christmas lights switch on yesterday, they're amazing!!!

Yer it was really good, they're very funny! Was all over very quickly though. The Fenwick window scares me! It's really creepy, such a good idea and every time I walk past it I can't help but sing, not fun to walk past in the middle of the night when you're coming back from a night out though!!

My grandparents live up here so when my brother and I were little we used to make a special trip out to see the window everytime we came up to visit them, was definately a highlight!
I won't spoil what the window is then just incase you haven't heard... though I would be amazed if you haven't!!!!

Me and Jack are going christmas shopping today after he goes to basketball.
We wanted to go to a christmas fayre but never made it.(it started at 10)
