Just had my first mince pie and cream of the season - shop-bought (and not as good as mine ;) ) but pretty delicious! :cloud9:

Mmm, I love Mince Pies, especially the ones sold in Druckers, but I'm going to be good and stay away from all Mince Pies and Christmas Cakes, and the only Christmas Pudding I'm having of the season will be on Wednesday night when I go to a Crimbo 'do'

my kids were eating chocolate at 8am this morning :scared1: they have got a proper advent calender that my mum fills with chocs and i got matt a pirates of the carribean one and ellie has got a disney one :thumbsup2

My DH has an Aston Villa one - it was a joke birthday prezzie from me... ;)

The first thing adam said this morning was, I can open my calendar today, so he ran downstairs and ate his chocolate (before breakfast) he has a cadburys one suppose it will be the same everyday until the chocs run out on the 24th then he will have a load of christmas goodies to munch through.

my DH would have loved that !! where did you fid it ?

Aston Villa online shop, Nat! I don't know why, but they send me offers every now and again - recently I had 15% off everything (plus free names on shirts) and I went a little mad as there are three Villa supporters in my house plus my neice...

The choccie in it smells a bit yuk tho' - definitely not Cadbury's... :lmao:

I got a lovely Disney one on my recent trip. Just realised that I haven't opened the first little door yet:rolleyes1

I have got a lovely Lindt choccie calendar:cloud9:

Just got in from my works Christmas do - I'm full of turkey and Christmas pud and my feet ache from too much dancing, but I'm very happy and feeling very Christmassy.:santa:

When is everyone else's Christmas 'do' ? and what are you doing ? :santa:

I'm going to the dog racing in Coventry on Wednesday, so I'm really looking forward to our Christmas meal and hopefully winning a few bets :)

A Christmas 'do' is one of the things I still miss now I no longer work outside the home. I went to some fantastic ones when I was nursing/teaching...

Karen ~ If you're home by the 21st, you could come to mine. The only downside is you would need to come to Glasgow:)

Aww thanks Florence! Coming to Glasgow wouldn't be a problem but, sadly, I don't get back till 22nd... :goodvibes
