**Woohoo !! It's Boxing Day**

I'm on a roll now :teeth: Used HMV code from Florence, although would not accept DS Lite for DD and DS so we have still to get those :)

Ive got most of my christmas presents all sorted now, just a few more to order then the tedious task or wrapping them all up!

Mandymouse, they have got the POTC advent calendars in Tesco too, I had to get one for my DD.

I am beginning to get in the spirit now, I always have to get my birthday out of the way first. I have got my cards (got them in the January sales) have got some wrapping paper and some Christmassy bottle bags - now I just need to buy some pressies to wrap up.

I have got a week off in November and I am planning to try to have it all finished during that week. Also I hope to pick up some nice last minute stuff in Amsterdam at the beginning of December. I'm hoping they'll have a nice little Christmas market or something so I can get some local treats, maybe Stollen and gingerbread type things. Yummy.

:yay:

I've been food shopping this morning and managed to pick up some Disney sweeties for my Secret Santa pressie ;)

Woohoo !! It's 2 Months Til Christmas

Merry "2 months til christmas" everybody

Got most of my prezzies bought or at least know what I'm getting - all except for my Mom and Dad :confused3

Havent a clue. Been racking my brains but still drawn a blank. They are sooooo hard to buy for. Mom doesnt like practical stuff but doesnt like girlie stuff either. I always buy Dad a ps2 game so I was looking to think of something different this year. I was thinking of garden lighting but they have lots already. Any ideas?

I make my own cards for xmas, so I'll be starting that after our halloween party on Saturday (I take over the dining table for a week!)

Whats everyone doing for xmas dinner? we have the usual dilemma every year of whose paents we go to, or have over etc and try to do the juggling act of seeing everyone.

Merry christmas everyone

Just got to but the sweeties from Thorntons, which I am going to do at lunch time :thumbsup2

Just need to wrap them now

We had a very successful trip this weekend to Manchester where I managed to get loads from the Disney Store. I bought some Santa Tiggers, Eeyore, Pooh, Christmas Cards, Mickey & Minnie tree decorations and a Tinker Bell tree topper - woohoo !! I can't wait to put my tree up :)

Excellent news Mand :thumbsup2

Are the Mickey and Minnie tree toppers nice? I ordered them online and I can't wait till they arrive. Ordered the Tinkerbelle tree bauble as well.

Yes Florence, the Mickey & Minnie tree topper is nicer than the Tinker Bell one, but it was a bit too heavy for my tree. I was so lucky this weekend, as I bought some stuff yesterday and when I went in again this morning there was new stuff on the shelves

Mandy :)

I thought both were very heavy and could not imagine the top branch holding either

Well even if I have to use sticky back plastic and super glue, that topper is going on my tree (mind you it may have to stay on there, even when the tree's been put away) :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I know what you mean - my MIL is very difficult. However she's just been to stay and was rather taken with Sky+ so we're getting that for her Christmas and birthday (also in December) which was an excellent result! :thumbsup2 I'm now almost done gift-wise... :woohoo:

This year I'm going all out with a multi-course feast! We don't really do the extended family thing anymore as Christmas Day on the motorway lost it's appeal some years ago. My DD and her DF spend Christmas Day with us every other year - I don't really like sharing her but I've found that works pretty well. :rolleyes1
