Woohoo !! welcome to the club ~ today in Coventry it was absolutely packed, mainly due to a Debenhams sale that had just started, but it was horrendous, I am so glad that I've bought all my pressies and wrapped them all up too

Had a quick walk round Birmingham city centre last night before the theatre and saw just a few lights but they were beautiful, much nicer than Oxford Street in London couple of year ago. Talking about adverts have you seen the M&S one with Shirley Bassey singing at the end. It was covered in their winter magazine saying how it was filmed in 30 degree heat in July!!!

Really ? You would never have known. I think it's a great advert, especially as it has a James Bond feel about it :thumbsup2

I done some shopping today got 20% off most of my stuff going to argos and woolies combined.
Town is really starting to look christmassy ready for the lights switch on on sunday it also looks like a fun fair there are so many rides there

Eloise ~ I noticed that the West Orchards looked lovely yesterday with all it's lights on. The town's decorations looked a bit sparce, but you couldn't miss that huge big wheel in the Bull Yard and the carousel outside the main Post Office. I hope it doesn't rain for the lights switch on, not that we'll be there, but the girls are seeing them being switched on in Nuneaton :)

yes the decorations don't look too good at the moment but hopefully when they are switched on they might look a bit fuller, i also hope some of the rides stay i noticed the big wheel wednesday night i wasn't even near it but you could see it glowing it looked really nice the carousel looks really nice and a bit thurther down from the big wheel there is a swing ride :santa:

We have got the big switch on tomorrow at 5pm (no one famous doing it though) together with a firework display. Pity I'll be at work, but plan on going down about 1pm Santa and real reindeer are appearing. I keep trying to tell Ashley all about Santa as he's 10 and moving upto secondary school next year, not sure he's ready to hear, but if he doesn't get it soon he'll be in for some tormenting. He had a tooth drop out the other day and the tooth fairy had to visit, tried explaining about that too. Bless him, part of me wants him to grow up and be self sufficient with things another part of me wants to mother him always.

Yay, I received my first Christmas card this morning :thumbsup2

Woohoo !! Christmas is really coming :)
