WooHoo I got Standard View at BLT

I adjusted my 2011 vacation by a week so we could attend a wedding and by doing so I was able to get the Standard View I wanted When I called right at 11 mos for my original dates the availability was sporadic I can only hope the few days difference may also mean I am missing some kids being out of school and it will be just a tad less busy.

Moral of the story is you never know until you call and check if you will get the view you want.

I am hoping I have the pixie dust I need at 7 mos when I make a split stay that I get the view I want at BWV too.

Congratulations, but it's really sad that you could not get a standard view for your original reservation calling at the 11 month window??!!?? Did I read that wrong? What were your dates and what are you dates now? I called yesterday at the 11 month window to reserve a standard 1 bedroom and had no problem for my dates of August 14-19. Glad it all worked out for you.

We got 8 consecutive nights - standard view studio at BLT for our stay (hoping to add the 9th night tomorrow). We can't wait - only 333 days for our first trip "home"

No the wedding is here at home and the bride was worthy of my changing my vacation dates

The original dates were June 5-11 and there were 3 dates in there that time frame with no standard avail. I was shocked too!

Wow, that is really scarey. I know it happens during the holidays and sometimes early December, but in June Glad it all worked in your favor.

Makes me wonder if maybe that first week of June there were a bunch of families with kids just starting vacation, etc? Who knows I am just glad it worked out hahaha
