I thought of something else, we bought a fisher price space saver high chair to keep at my moms. Ds has been sitting in it since 6m and still does. It straps to a regular chair so you can out it away when not in use, cleans easy and is fairly cheap (find at target or babies r us). We also use it as our daily high chair at home
