Woohoo!!! Awesome CS at DLR!!

I just had to share how awesome the customer service is at DLR! I got a call this morning that something messed up with my concierge reservations at DLH (E-ticket updating or something?) and they asked me if they would like to be switched to the Grand California hotel with conceirge/club at the same rate, I said yes! They called GCH and the hotel agreed to take us for the same AP8 rate as DLH!!! I literally yelled "Woohoo!!!" when I got off the phone with them! I really wanted to stay at the Grand but the price with concierge was way too high for us. After a bad last week with the loss of my MIL, this was just what we needed to start looking forward to our vacation again!

I still can't believe it and wont until I'm there. I know my sons eyes will pop when we reach the hotel. We've never stayed anywhere that nice. It brought all my disney excitement back:

Oh, that's AWESOME!! I wish that would happen to me--we're staying DLH concierge starting this Sunday...maybe they'll mess mine up too... With my luck I'd be switched over to PP, though!

You will love it!!!! GCH is a gorgeous hotel, the staff is amazing and the views....WOW! We had a DTD view and we loved it, loved listening to the music at night. It was so neat. I wish we could afford do that every trip but no way can we make that happen right now.

Well, we already know staying there with concierge is like a once in a lifetime thing for us. We looked into it at first and it was 150 more per night! I already know we'll love it! Now may this week please fly by!

OMG!!! It DID happen to me!!! They just called and told me the concierge lounge at DLH would be down for refurbishment during our stay. They offered to give us concierge privileges at GCH and keep our room at DLH, but I told them my 77-year-old mother who is in a wheelchair would not find that very convenient, so they moved both our rooms to the Grand!! I'll be there Sun-Wed, evandmp...maybe we'll see each other! I can't remember when you said you're going and since I'm posting on page 2, I don't seem to be able to see your original post as I'm typing.

I'm sorry about your MIL, too--I meant to post that to you the first time but I forgot.
