Woody's Roundup Cookout?

The theme seems to be around birthdays and celebrations. Wonder if they will let you in if you are not celebrating anything and just want to go for BBQ and entertainment?

IMHO, it would be very "unDisney-like" to exclude those of us who cannot travel to DL to celebrate a specific date. After all, aren't we all celebrating at DL? Just celebrating being there? I know I sure do, and to me and my family, being at DL is better than any birthday or anniversary!

(spoken by someone who didn't plan very well - my kids are all born in High Season, and we got married in August, so none of our "Celebration days" coincide with my "must go to DL in off-season" mantra!)

It is my understanding that the Celebration BBQ is suppose to begin in Spring. Spring begins this month, matter of fact, I believe this week, officially. So therefore I would think that definitely by April 01, this BBQ will be available.
Any updates regarding the time frame? TIA

I booked our reservations yesterday for 4/29. My dh and I will be taking two of our granddaughters for the their fourth birthdays, I was told it was all you can eat served family style. There is a continous show with the toy story characters. Also the cm said something about a free photo taken and a surprise dessert. I am excited because every year when we go to WDW we miss the Mickeys BBQ because it is seasonal so I am thinking this must be a lot like it.
