Woo Hooo! $70 extra in my pocket!

I ordered the Sigma 150 2.8 Macro on Saturday for $599. Today, I checked the B&H website to make sure the lens size was 72mm, and the price of the lens had gone up to $669. Friends--this stuff doesn't usually happen to me.
PLUS, I received my $70 rebate check from San Disk from when I bought my two memory cards--converted that puppy right away to get a Joby Gorillapod and mini head for vacation for $69.95.
So, I guess that's really $140!
What a day, what a day!
The new macro arrives tomorrow!

Edited to note: The Sigma 30 mm that I had in my cart at B&H on also went up $60. So, I guess I'm up just $10 on the day. Yep--that's my life.

Updated yet AGAIN! OK--I know I want that lens! Beach still had it for $398, which is $31 less than B&H had it to begin with. Now, I'm up even more! (Weird way of being "up" with $900 of glass charged to my card....)

Except now with lenses it all makes sense to me.

must be one of those you have to spend money to make money deals. so according to your reasoning, which i like btw, the computer i just bought went up $60 and i get a rebate for the monitor so now if i can find a little more to buy on sale , i can get the desk i have been looking at
