We are going to DL twice this holiday season. We are doing our usual Friday-Monday before Thanksgiving. We are also going from December 21- December 26. I am so excited!

I have flights booked for both trips and DLH booked for December. We are going with my in-laws so we are getting the senior rate which is 30% off. We will most likely stay at the GCH in November. :santa:

Woohoo! I hope you have a wonderful time and take plenty of pics! :cool1:

What age does Disney consider 'senior'? Just curious since they consider the age of 10 'adult'?

Congratulations!

We will be there in December as well for our first family trip during the Holidays, soooo looking forward to it!

How fun!!! No Disney letdown for you after trip number one because you know you'll be back there very soon!

Yay!:santa::cool1:

Well, you're a girl after my own heart so I know you will be able to relate to what my first thought was upon reading about your 2 holiday trips:

More trips = more chances to eat Mickey ears gingerbread cookies!!!:cool1::rotfl2::rotfl2:

And you will be getting the full holiday experience during the December trip, when the hotels and DTD are decked out too (which they will not be during your November trip)! Can't miss the GCH at Christmas time!

You are doing one thing that I have not yet been able to do during the DLR holiday season, over all of my holiday trips, which is to be there on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! One of these days I will do that. I've done New Year's Eve and New Year's Day before, but just once I would like to actually wake up on Disney property and hit the parks on Christmas to see if it 'feels' different, not to mention catch the characters waving goodnight in their adorable pajamas on Christmas Eve, by the train station! Seeing the characters in their PJ's on Christmas Eve would be worth the trip alone for me!

Congrats!! We are going twice this year as well! Next month to celebrate the 2 little guys bdays, and then a secret escape with my "cupcake" in October. :goodvibes

That is awesome! GCH at the holiday is not to be missed--I'm jealous of anyone who stays there. I've never done Disneyland on Christmas Eve or Christmas--gets tricky for our family, one because we're local so we're always blocked out, and two, because DS's birthday is Christmas Eve, but one day I will definitely do a Christmas Eve closing and a Christmas Day visit. Have wonderful trips!

Awesome! We will be there Dec. 19-21. I am so excited! In 2009, we were able to go during the Christmas decorations and stuff for the first time, and it was so charming and sweet and AMAZING! To see it twice in one season is so fun! Congratulations!

This made me LOL! So true, Disney counts 10 year olds as adults, they should count 40 year olds as seniors! But seriously, over the age of 60 is considered a senior.

I didn't know that the characters wave goodnight in their PJ's! I'm so excited to see that! Thanks for letting me know.
