I LOVE THE 20 POUND CLIPPIE!!!!
I have been chasing it for over a month, I think. Two weeks in England threw me off a little, so I had to play some catch up when I got back. A mini-goal of mine was to get to 139 before July 4th. This week I tried something different and ADDED calories into my plan (a chocolate protein shake between breakfast and lunch for another 220 calories, 6 carbs and 3 grams of fat, I think). I could have just added a small protein based meal, but I wanted to just have the shake for convenience.
Well, this expirement worked, I'm happy to say! I will post to the check-in thread as well that I lost 3.5 pounds this week! I had been curious about adding calories to my plan, especially from protein, since I have been lifting weights pretty regularly and doing a decent amount of cardio. I didn't want to eat too few calories. Reading SnackyStacky's "maintenance" weight loss results was just the kind of push I needed to give this a go and it payed off. Ross also lost a few pounds this week by adding more calories to his plan. He is under 200 for the first time in probably 8 years!!! He weighed 199.5 today (ONEderland for him) and he is thrilled!!!
Bouncing off the walls today! My next, and last goal, is to get a 25 pound clippie!!!
That's it for me, the only clippie I want after that is the red GOAL one!!!!!
OH, ONE MORE THING!!! I haven't been under 140 since the late 80s, so this is a REALLY big deal for me today!!!!!! It's been at least 13 years, probably 14, since I have been in the 130s! I know the first trip we made to England in 1988 I had lost a bunch of weight (the unhealthy way, not eating!) and had gotten down to 130 for a very short (and unhealthy) time. This time I am doing it right, exercising, EATING, and being patient (most of the time!)

Reading your story today has given me a much needed push. I'm tired, headachy and craving pretty much everything. But I'm not going to cave in. I WANNA BE LIKE YOU!!!
