So this Thursday I plan on driving my oldest (she's 5) to her school but then, right at the last sec, I'm gonna keep on driving past her school and hop on the 5 freeway and head straight to DL! I love surprising my kids with surprise visits to Disneyland! They're young enough that they never see it coming and it's so much fun for me to watch how excited they get when they realize a) they are not going to school and b) they are going to spend the whole day and night at Disneyland!

So much fun! So grateful I life in San Diego (only a 1 hour trip!)...and have season passes! Sweet!

Just excited and wanted to share!

Later ya'll!

Woohoo! I am surprising my five year old on Tuesday! But I have to wake her at 4:15 am and then we have to catch a plane! I'd love to only live an hour away!

Have a blast!!

:cool1:

Have fun! My kids don't know about our upcoming trip either. I can't to the driving to school and keep on going trick though ~ we need to leave for the airport around 6:30am!

Spidey, that's an awesome surprise! They'll love it. One question, though: do you feel like adopting a 41-year-old man just for Thursday ;-).

That's exactly what we did on our first family trip in 2006. The girls were on Spring Break, we acted like we were taking them to the sitters but we just kept on driving....ended up on Harbor where they asked "can we maybe go to DL because it looks really close" LOL Have fun!
