WOO HOO! ME tags have arrived!!!

Well I decided to call ME just to make sure they had the flight info since leaving in 10 wahooo days and wow they did and had all 6 of us too. She assured me that they are sending out the tags next day service by FED X and that I will get my tags. I bet she has to say that but at least there is some hope. Thanks for the number whiteb.

We'll be wearing our lime green!! We'll also be eating at Beaches and Cream on several occasions.....maybe we'll see ya there!! We are the BWV for 10 nights - right across from BCV and YC!! My DD's are almost 9....I'm sure they would love to hang out with your DD!!

Lime Green is the color of Dis board members. Many Dis members wear lime green shirts or put lime green buttons on their backpacks, etc. It's just a way of identifying ourselves.

I met with my AAA agent yesterday and was able to pick up EVERYTHING except the ME tags...she said they've been getting them just about RIGHT before you are supposed to depart. This is making me nervous because I don't have a ton of time to wait for them to arrive since this week I'll be preparing for my wedding this weekend. I just hope they come in sooner than later.

I asked if she's seen any with WRONG flight information on them and she said she hasn't...my flight down got bumped up an hour and my flight back got bumped back an hour already, and I asked if that would affect things and she said no, they go by the flight # not time, and if the # hasn't changed then it's no big deal. whew!

You'll notice I didn't say impatiently waiting...

Our flight is on June 1 out of Indy, but we are heading to the airport on May 31 b/c our flight is at 7am. It's a 2 1/2 hour trek to Indy airport. I will be flagging the mail carrier down every day this week. I hope there will be no delays due to Memorial Day. Keeping my fingers crossed!!!

Only a few more days before we leave (5/28) and still no tags. I booked packages thru AAA so DME will be sending the tags to them. Assuming they actually get the tags sometime this week, they still have to get them to us. I can go pick them up since the office is just down the street; however, they have to mail some of the tags to another part of Virginia and the remaining tags to San Diego! I did call DME and they confirmed that we are in the system, so I guess are tags are in process somewhere.

Oh well, if we don't get them I guess it will just make checkin at the airport a little longer when we arrive at MCO.

Meanwhile, I'll keep my fingers-crossed.

We're leaving Friday morning, 5/27, and still haven't received our tags. I'm not very hopeful that they'll arrive before then based on what I've been reading. I've called twice and they have us in the system and the flight information is correct. Don't know what the problem is! I'm sure it will be fine if the tags don't come, but heck, I want the free lanyard and pins!

I'll post if I do receive them before Friday!

I was wondering about the lanyard and pin voucher. If I don't get the packet before I leave on Saturday, I'm going to ask the DME folks about it when I check-in at the airport.

Good idea! If DME has your reservation then I would think you should be able to ask for a lanyard! I would, what can they say but yes or no.

We got our tags today!!! We leave June 4th and all the info on the tags/materials is CORRECT.

I can't wait to go!!!

I'm going to call AAA again today just to see if they came in and just forgot to call me.

Oh, and someone told me that they didn't get their tags but were given the pin/lanyard voucher at the DME check-in at MCO.

I went outside my front door this morning and behind my milk cooler was a FX envelope. Almost didn't see it. I guess they came yesterday and hid it. It was ME tags. Yeah!!!! There is hope. June 2nd leaving. Still need one more set though. It was only half of them.

So I should be seeing mine around the 2nd or 3rd since I am leaving on June 11th? When did everyone get their AAA package, still waiting to get a call from AAA to pickup the package but nothing yet?

I leave on Monday morning and I finally received my FedEx package today... well two Fed Ex packets. Two copies of the Magical Express booklet with my name and tags in them, but one had my flight info as "Not Provided" and the second was correct. I will be using the second one!

I am very excited! I was on the bubble and considering getting a town car but now I am gonna use the ME and see what happens. Sounds like things are going well now.

Now I'm curious... how exactly they process and produce the DME tags and then ship. Seems odd that people leaving next week are getting tags while those of us leaving this week still have nada.

Oh well, it will all work out and it's good to hear from many of the people who used DME and didn't have tags and had a good experience.
