Woo Hoo!! I just got my 1st ever Postcard in the mail!!

It says from $109 for select deluxe resorts!!! 1/2-2/13!!

I have never gotten a postcard before. And in the past 3 years we have gone to disney twice a year. However, it has been exactly one year since our last trip so maybe they miss me and want me back! i know i miss them!

The $109/night is a "Lead-In" rate for the AKL Standard View room, before tax. The other Deluxe resorts are higher.

well i couldn't take it any longer and i called to see what kind of rates they had.
these are the ones they gave me for mid january and the prices INCLUDE tax:

this is all i got.

I will probably get a postcard today too. I always seem to get them right before I am about to leave! It's like they know I can't use it because I am going the month or two before!! Oh well, at least I got good rates (renting points and code rate at AKL)!!

No one knows for sure. It is sent to select demographic groups and we never really know the criteria. Unfortunately, there is no way to "sign up" or anything like that. It seems very hit or miss. The only observation that I have noticed is that fewer folks from the East Coast get them and more folks from the Midwest DO get them.

Whoops, forgot to mention the actual offer. It is usually for select discounts at the Disney resorts. I've seen discounts anywhere from 20-40% off rack rates included with these special offers.

I'm planning a three day stay for the WDW Marathon in January and am booked at POFQ. Always interested in better rates... as I think we all are...

We got a postcard in May and we happened to be going in June! So, we got PO-R for $94/nt.
