Woo Hoo!! I did it!

I finally booked a short getaway for DH and I. We've been back and forth about this and work has gotten in the way, but we're finally going to get to go!!

I booked CBR this morning and had a GREAT CM, Sharon! She was great. Friendly, helpful and knew what she was doing. I've read so many complaints about CM's not knowing what they were doing and taking forever to get reservations. I was a little worried about calling, but I guess I lucked out. Had reservations made and 2 PS's done all in about 15-20 minutes. I thought that was great! (especially w/ the menu you have to go thru to get to a real person)

Ok... now since I've never stayed at CBR...any and all info would be greatly appreciated!

Congrats on your reservations!! You've picked a wonderful resort. I've stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort twice and absolutely LOVE this resort. It can be very romantic, too, with its white sandy beaches and hammocks for 2. The lush tropical greenery is great for a romantic walk at night. There's a "promenade" pathway that goes around the lake that is very nice to walk around, during the day or night. You can see some of the fireworks from Epcot at night, either from the Martinique beach, the Trinidad North beach, or right from the pool bar/patio area.

You will love CBR - especially if it is just you and DH. It is so quiet and really makes you feel like you are in the Caribbean. We stayed in Trinidad North, which is pretty secluded, but not a three minute walk from the food court and main pool. Shutters is pretty good - I was surprised. Oh - we had a corner room with a king bed - the room seemed HUGE and I am not a light packer. We love CBR. Have a great trip!
