As the title states I purchased shares this morning and I've now posted the form and contract note.

How long does it usually take to hear back from them? I don't want to chase it up too quickly but at the same time we are going soon so need to get it sorted!

Unfortunately I don't have access to a fax machine so had to just post and hope for the best!

So excited now! :dance3:

I wouldn't expect a reply for at least a week if you've posted off your stuff. It will take at least that long for the shareholders club to receive your paperwork and assign you a membership number.

You may not get your shareholders club card in time for your trip, as these are printed and sent out in batches (and it can take up to 12 weeks between batches). But if you wait until a couple of weeks before you are going to DLP, you can contact them and ask them to send you a temporary shareholders club membership letter, which you can print off and take with you, to be used in the same way a shareholders card would be :).

Yes that'll be fine. As nice as it would be to have my lovely shiny card in time I knew that it takes longer for that.

I'll give it 7-10 days then and maybe then call to check everything and request a temporary one.

Thank you :)

As a belt and braces approach, if you have access to a scanner you can scan the documents and email to them. That is presuming you kept copies or can print again if not.

I know they won't always accept emailed applications but if for some reason your posted forms don't reach them, they have a back up!

I think Torsie had an issue recently with them not getting the fax the first time so she had to resend. It does happen!

Congrats on becoming a Shareholder - I've just done it myself recently - like a lot of people on here :rotfl2:.

one more thing I should maybe mention - the temporary shareholders club member letter is only valid for 30 days, so make sure that when you call to ask for it, its still going to be valid throughout the entire duration of your next trip to DLP.
