Woo Hoo - All Paid up and Ready to Go

No news here, but a celebration: just paid for our November trip, nine of us including one never-been, staying at RPH club level, 3 rooms, for five nights November 25 - 30 (not long enough), 3 park 14 day tix, and FRONT ROW dead center for a Blue Man Group show on Sunday the 27th. No Mouse this trip.

Now, all we need is for Mr. Weatherman to cooperate. SO READY TO GO NOW!!!!

But just a short eight months to wait (sigh . . .). I guess YouTube will have to do in the meantime.

Yeah, it will drag. We do have a beach trip in August that will help break up the waiting. I'm really excited for the never-been person, a friend of my step - granddaughter who has been a hoot in past family trips (she's been to the beach with our group the past few times). She's one of those people you love to have along on such trips, with a great sense of humor and a life of the party personality.

She will be blown away by Universal (as is anyone who has never been) and I'll love watching her reactions to everything. She has never in her life experienced anything like these parks. Remember your first time, Mac? I remember mine - Nick studios, Ghostbusters, Earthquake, King Kong, the Flintstones, Back to the Future, the original Hard Rock restaurant . . .

Good times. Still trying to find my pics from those trips and if I ever do I'll post them. Other than the ones of me in those short-shorts that were popular back then (what were we thinking?)
