Wonder's Panama Canal Repo 2011 - AND WE'RE NOT BRINGING IT BACK!

Well, in May last year it was in the 90's from the time we left until we hit Cabo...

I just hope it won't be during Spring Break weeks... then the ship is going to be overrun... It was nice last May... there were kids onboard, but not as many as last August...

Just saw on another thread that the Captain of the Wonder reported the Disney Dream arrival date is 1/4/2011.

This may work out for us after all...I'm unable to take off from work from mid-Feb through June so I'm hoping for Jan - mid Feb.

Just saw on another thread that the Captain of the Wonder reported the Disney Dream arrival date is 1/4/2011. Hard to say if this corresponds with a PC crossing tho. I personally would like it in Feb as opposed to Jan. I like my weather as hot as I can get it.:thumbsup2
:goodvibes Ooooohh!
Every tidbit of info is just one step closer to hearing when this cruise will be! :yay:

My TA has a list......... she sent me this:- "I do have a 2011 list going on. Usually, DCL will release sailings prior to booking, so I will make sure that you get a link (although I know you are quite DCL savvy so no doubt you will already have them)."

Do you have a TA, or are you booking on your own? Hope you hear soon.

I do have a DU TA. I sent the first email off to the reservations dept, then a couple of weeks later to the person who usually books the cruises.

Ah well, I guess I will see on here just as early. I'm just surprised there hasn't been any acknowledgement. Strange way to run a business.

Tracy, my DU TA, responded quickly to confirm I was on the list they were gathering of PC repo cruisers.

Either the email got stuck in spam, or something else happened.

Thank you for that. Perhaps I should try a different DU TA?:confused3 The thing is with it being something in the future, and not a definite thing yet I don't want to make a fuss.:lmao:

Perhaps they don't want my business this time?

You will hear from them, Marilyn. :surfweb: :thumbsup2 I have not yet sent a request to be on the list. I think we still have a few days to procrastinate and will still make the boat!! ;)

Hi Everyone!

Hmmmm, so let's assess: Disney Dream Inaugural Meet thread? 4 pages. Wonder Repo: 41 pages and counting. :thumbsup2

I asked my TA to fax IC on my behalf towards the middle of May (we want a suite). She has had fairly good luck with IC requests, so i am keeping my fingers crossed. Hope to join you all on this one.

Never been through the PC before. Would love to do it with Disney. :goodvibes

I don't care when the cruise is. I just don't want them to open bookings until mid-late November as we will be on a cruise till November 8. :thumbsup2 That's not selfish, is it?

We'll be on the boat the Saturday after Thanksgiving. I was hoping they would wait until then so we could get the onboard booking discount. :goodvibes I don't think I'll be that lucky though. ;)

Just so you know... IF you booked a dummy date on board... you MUST call DCL the day of the bookings to get it changed over - and the chance of that happening is not impossible, but getting through on a busy day like that is crazy...

We've been on the list with DU (Merrie) since April so which ever way gets us booked is fine with me.

FYI Marilyn,

We haven't sent our names to any TA as of yet and not real worried about it.

Last time we just booked ourselves when the "bell rang" so to speak and got what we wanted no problem. Well there was a slight problem but that was Shannon hitting the wrong button and sending us on the wrong cruise, but that got fixed up after a few hours of sitting on the phone LOL...

Thanks Ken. I really don't feel I can send another email to Dreams, so like you I will wait.

I just can't understand why they didn't even acknowledge the emails.:confused3

Marilyn,

Have you checked your spam folder just in case emails got caught in there?

If you have, then throw that British reserve out the door! Send DU an email to check that they have your details on the waitlist. Or if they are your TA for your Sept cruise, then you should have a number that you can call.

I have never had a problem getting a reply from DU. So I would wonder if there was a glitch somewhere.

There is nothing in my spam folder, though mine could be in theirs! If I was asking for quotes I would keep contacting them, but I doubt they would have ignored me then.;) But, because it is only for this waitlist I don't feel I can keep doing so. I'm just surprised thats all as we have previously booked 4 cruises with them and a couple of resort stays. I have always had speedy replies apart from one question a couple of months ago about this cruise and I waited a few days before repeating the email. I did get a reply then.

I guess a waitlist doesn't get you any further up the list for booking anyway. I will find out on here about this cruise. You still have to request the booking

Just found out that on the Wonder, kids 12-14 are not in the Lab, but in Ocean Quest.......and we'll be in WDW for the 40th anniversity of WDW....

I just had a great thought! LESS than 2 years to go now! (at least I'm assuming).
