I'd heard rumors last year that the Wonders of Life pavillion was going to close. With my Disney trip loomiing (only 11 more days!), I'd like to know--is it still at Epcot?

The building is still there yes, but the attractions are currently not open. I believe it is due to the lack of a corporate sponsor to share the costs. I think the building is currently being used for exhibits occasionally.

It's still there but it's not open. :(

The building is usually closed but they open it for "special" exhibits every now and then. When it's open the old rides are not in use but instead the area is just used for displays/lectures/etc...

I visited the pavillion in early May of this year and took these pictures.

specifically, it's an event venue. the internal exhibits and decor have been removed. it's been used for the Food & Wine Festival last year and the Flower and Garden festival this year.

it will not return to what it was in the same form.

Like bradk says it is really doubtful it will ever return as it was...the DNA "tower" outside is gone and I see differences in these photos from this year's Flower and Garden to the last time I was in the building during the F&W festival last October. Looks like it will remain an event building, at least until it isn't. Things do change often at Disney, so anything is possible! (There is magic there, you know!)

I miss Body Tours, Cranium Command was fun, the Making of Me we did once years ago and never again so can't say I miss that one all that much. Can't remember now what else was in there (memory fades...sad.)

We were lucky enough to be there in Dec 2006, which was the last time I know of that Wonders of Life was open and the rides were operating. Even though there were quite a few people in the park...the Soarin' wait time was 90 minutes...the WOL building was nearly empty as most people didn't seem to even know it was there...and the few people I talked to had learned it was open from the DIS, just like I did.
